  According to the previous coverage of the newspaper, Mrs. Chou, living in Shu-Lin City, Taipei County, who had been injected the H1N1 vaccine, probably died due to the vaccination. After the physical examination, the prosecutor in charge of this case further conducted the autopsy together with the forensic medical examiner of the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Ministry of Justice on 30^th December 2009. Based on the autopsy report, which was delivered to this office yesterday evening, Mrs. Chou had a coronary artery disease (atherosclerosis type), and a serious clog in the cardiovascular system, as well as the myocardial necrosis and rupture, altogether making her suffer from pericardial thrombosis and eventually she passed away because of cardiogenic shock. Therefore, she died from a natural cause. There is no evidence suggesting the vaccination caused any deadly anaphylaxis shock, infectious diseases or other complications. And the family of Mrs. Chou also has no objection against the conclusion of the autopsy report. To prevent the public from being misled by untrue information and anxious about the vaccination, this office issues this press release.
