The place to install the bell:
The bell is installed at the main entrance of this Office, marked ”the bell for complaint or report”, and its administration and direction to use are responsible respectively by our bailiffs on-duty.
The procedure after ringing the bell:
If you want to make a verbal complaint, report or voluntary surrender, once you ring the bell, the bailiff on-duty will lead you to wait for the on-duty prosecutor and his/her clerk for further questioning and making records. Please do not leave without permission before the record is made.
Time to make a complaint or report:
As a principle, time to make a complaint or report is limited to the office hours only, with the exception of emergency.
Confidentiality of the reporter:
If the reporter is unwilling to expose his/ her name concerning the reported matters and asks for privacy, his/her identity may be kept secret if deemed necessary by the prosecutor. However, if the reporter is suspected of false accusation with intent, and the suspicion has made clear with evidence, the criminal code and its punishment shall prevail.

Before making a complaint or report, the identification of the suspect’s true name and address is advisable for the necessity of the prosecutor’s investigation thereafter.
