Some police officers, currently working at Taipei City Police Department’s Da-an, Nangang, Zhongshan precincts, are under suspicion of harboring large illegal ganster-owned casinos playing Texas Hold’em and Baccarat, and accepting bribes since 2008, violating Anti-Corruption Act.

Earlier this morning(March 29th), prosecutors from Anti-Corruption Division at Banciao District Prosecutors Office directed the personnel from Investigation Bureau Taipei Branch and National Police Agency to search 32 places, including Taipei City Police Department’s Da-an, Nangang, Zhongshan precincts and related suspects. Moreover, Tu, Zhen-Wei with 7 other casino owners and intermediaries,17 gamblers and casino workers are summoned. The investigation will be continued.
