Q11:Can the evidence or seized property be returned to the owner after the final decision of non-prosecution is made? If so, how can the owner do when he or she has difficulty taking them back in person?

(1)If the evidence or seized property is illegal or should be confiscated, it is not allowed to be returned.

(2)In other situations where the owner does not abandon the evidence or seized property, this Office will return them to the owner except the law provides otherwise or it should be used for investigation in other cases or setting the case for trial.

(3)If the owner cannot take back the property in person, a deputy, bringing the owner’s certificate of appointment and ID card, can handle the process.
